David Abram

David Abramis a cultural ecologist and environmental philosopher who lectures and teaches widely. He received a Lannan Literary Award forThe Spell of the Sensuousand fellowships from the Thomas J. Watson Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation. Named by theUtne Readeras one of one hundred visionaries transforming the world, Abram is also an accomplished sleight-of-hand magician who has lived with indigenous magicians and medicine people in Asia and the Americas.
